Getting started

What is scheduler.blue?: scheduler.blue is a post scheduling tool for Bluesky. You write your posts in advance, pick a date and time, and we publish them automatically — images, link cards, and all.
How do I connect my Bluesky account?: You connect via an app password, not your main Bluesky password. In Bluesky, go to Settings → App Passwords, create a new one, and paste it into the Accounts page in scheduler.blue. You can revoke it from Bluesky at any time.
Why do you use app passwords instead of OAuth?: Bluesky's app password system is the current standard way for third-party apps to post on your behalf. It gives you a dedicated credential you can revoke independently without changing your main password. We store it encrypted and never share it.

How far in advance can I schedule posts?: There's no upper limit — you can schedule posts months or years ahead.
Can I attach images to scheduled posts?: Yes. Free plan supports 1 image per post. Creator and Pro plans support up to 4 images per post, matching Bluesky's native limit.
Does it support link card embeds?: Yes. If your post contains a URL, scheduler.blue will automatically fetch and attach the link card when the post is published, just like Bluesky does natively.
Can I schedule threads?: Not as a single composed thread yet — but you can schedule individual posts a minute apart to achieve the same effect. Native thread support is on the roadmap.
What is CSV import?: CSV import lets you upload a spreadsheet of posts all at once — useful for campaigns, countdowns, or content batches. Each row is one post with a scheduled time and text. Creator plan supports up to 50 rows per import; Pro supports up to 10,000.
What happens if a post fails to publish?: If a post fails (e.g. your app password was revoked or Bluesky is temporarily down), it is marked as failed in your queue and you receive no silent data loss. You can inspect and retry from the dashboard.

What's included in the free plan?: 1 Bluesky account, a queue of up to 10 posts, 1 image per post, link card embeds, and 30 days of post history. No credit card required.
Can I try a paid plan before committing?: If you sign up via a referral link, you get one free month on any paid plan. Otherwise, you can start on the free plan and upgrade at any time — billing is monthly with no lock-in.
What payment methods do you accept?: All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. No PayPal or crypto at this time.
Can I change or cancel my plan?: Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the Billing page in your dashboard at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
What happens to my scheduled posts if I cancel?: Posts already scheduled before cancellation will not be published once your plan reverts to free — your queue will be capped to the free tier limits. We recommend exporting or rescheduling important posts before cancelling.

How does the referral program work?: Share your referral link (found in the Billing section of your dashboard). When someone signs up through it and subscribes to a paid plan, they get their first month free. You earn $8 for a Creator referral or $24 for a Pro referral, paid out 3 months after their subscription starts.
Why the 3-month wait before payout?: It gives time to confirm the subscriber stays active and isn't a fraudulent charge. Commissions are cancelled only if the referee cancels before the 3 months are up.
